 Slim graphic displays with SPI, I2C and touch-screen option.

  • The EA displays have been specially developed for +3.0V and +3.3V voltage supply. Unlike other displays this technology allows selection of the display glass and the LED backlight illumination.  This way many combinations and personalized effects can be created from standard components. Simply clip the display and the backlight unit together and create up to 63 possible combinations.
  • The graphic DOG displays are available in 102x64, 132x32, 128x64, 160x104, 240x64 and 240x128 pixel
  • The alphanumeric displays in 1x8, 2x16, 3x16 and 4x20 lines.
  • Display glass available in STN yellow/green, STN reflective, STN negative blue, FSTN blue, FSTN positive and negative. 
  • 4 Wire analogue touch-screens available for all graphic display sizes.

The DOG simulator communicates with the USB powered EVAL board. £39.00 By using the EA 9780-2USB or EA 9780-3USB text and pictures are shown on the DOG modules - without the need for any programming. This is the fastest to prove and demonstrate the capabilities of the DOG displays.

Arduino UNO display shield for our DOG displays

Unpopulated Arduino shield for the popular EA DOG displays are now available. The support documentation includes circuit diagrams, EAGLE PCB layouts, component placements, initiation sequences and sample programs for operating the display on an Arduino Uno. Three different size shields are available. There is a display shield for the EA DOGM081-A (1x8), EA DOGM162-A (2x16) and EA DOGM163-A (3x16) with ST7036 controller. The 2nd shield is for EA DOGM132-A (132x32), EA DOGM128-6 and EA DOGL128-6 (128x64) graphic displays with ST7565R controller. The 3rd shield is for the EA DOGS102-6 (102x64) graphic display with UC1701 controller

EA USB STICK-FONT This USB memory stick includes various fonts / character sets specially made for the DOG graphics displays. The Font Editor software can import ready made   Windows fonts. With the Font Editor it is easy to generate for example Cyrillic, Greek and Arabic fonts. The preview function shows immediately the size and style in the simulation window and when the EA 9780-2USB or EA 9780-3USB EVAL board is connected to the USB port, you can see the characters or text immediately on the DOG display. The export function generates a C- and Basic source code to include into your your software.
