This little interface board reads the SMT172 temperature and presents the Celcius temperature value to the I2C bus. The SMT172TOI2C can convert the SMT172 output to be compatible with the older and obsolete SMT160-30 sensor. This allows the board to be used for repair of equipment that use the obsolete SMT160-30 sensor.
