EA uniTFT Embedded displays

Designing a product with a colour TFT display and touch-screen does not have to be complex. By using the new EA uniTFT(s) embedded Smart displays the projects get off to a flying start. With integrated graphics controller, extensive graphics functions and USB, I²C and SPI interfaces, the displays are ready to run without additional peripherals.

The uniTFT(s) embedded displays use improved IPS-Panels with AACS technology (All Angle Color Stability). This means contrast and colors are retained even at extreme viewing angles. These displays do not have an inverse tilt effect. High brightness, with typ. 1,000 cd/m² and more, these displays are readable in direct sunlight. All screens have an optically bonded, capacitive touch screens (PCAP). Create within minutes functional layouts with the uniTFTDesigner software. Control your applications sensors and actuator signals directly from the display I/O, serial, I2C or SPI interface. The EA uniTFT(s) embedded displays can also communicate with an external micro processor.

The EA uniTFT displays are available in an enclosure with LAN, Wi-Fi, RS-232, RS-485 or USB interface option. These EA HMI are sealed enclosures and do not offer access to the low voltage I/O, I2C or SPI ports but communicate through LAN, Wi-Fi, RS-232, RS-485 or USB interfaces. Evaluation Kits for the EA uniTFTs 2.0", 2.8", 3.5" and, 4.3"

To get started with the EA uniTFTs embedded display we have put together various demoboard with the EA uniTFT028-ATC display. Simply supply power to the USB port and the 2.8" display works straight out of the box. The EA DEMOPACK contains everything required to start the development.

The QUICK-uniTFT box contains everything to get started with the larger EA uniTFT smart displays. The box includes the EA uniTFT display with PCAP touch, breakout board for pin 1-26 with speaker and PSU connector, USB cable and the uniTFTDesigner software.
